Our new SDK opens edelkrone products to the outside world. Show us the most inspiring, unexpected, groundbreaking thing you can build with it.
Use the edelkrone SDK to take our products into territory no ready-made tool was ever designed for: different inputs, triggers, controllers, integrations. Few limits, maximum creativity. It works both ways.
Drive our devices with external triggers: sensors, software, smart home, game controllers, studio systems.
Use our devices as triggers: motor states, positions and accelerometer data firing events in the world around them.
Twelve categories, and each one can crown its own winner.
Automations and daily-life scenarios around the home.
Controlling lights, sound, microphones and studio gear.
Dragonframe, editing, audio and VFX software: After Effects, GarageBand, anything.
Voice-commanded moves and sound-triggered motion.
Indoor self-navigation and obstacle avoidance, especially for Dolly.
Turn the live image from your phone camera or computer webcam into an input: track a face, a hand or an object, and let your edelkrone gear follow, frame or react to it.
Several edelkrone devices moving as one: the accelerometer and position data inside one device steer the moves of the others.
Automated packshots, repeatable product moves, camera-triggered shot sequences, focus stacking.
OBS, vMix and Stream Deck integrations, moves on scene changes, shots your chat can control.
Classroom demos, physics experiments and accelerometer-based measurements.
Fun-first builds: games, toys, interactive entertainment.
R&D and the wildest idea that fits nowhere else.
We'll feature submitted entries along the way. Build in public and get seen.
All prizes are edelkrone store credit, not cash. The credit is added to your edelkrone.com account and can be spent on any edelkrone product. Prizes go to entries that meet our quality bar.
Your AI assistant does the heavy lifting. Connect edelkrone MCP once: it helps you build your app with the edelkrone SDK, and it sends your entry when you're ready. No website to visit, no form to fill in.
Add it to Claude Code or ChatGPT. Setup is at connect.edelkrone.com.
Describe your idea. Your assistant writes the app with you on the edelkrone SDK, using our docs and examples through MCP.
Run it on your own edelkrone gear. Then put it where anyone can download it: Google Drive, GitHub or similar.
Film your app working and post it publicly on Instagram. What the video needs.
Tell your assistant to enter the Challenge. It asks for the details, you confirm. What you submit.
Your demo video is how the judges and the whole edelkrone community see your idea. Post it publicly on your own Instagram account; its link goes into your submission.
When your app is uploaded and your video is live, ask your assistant to submit it. Your entry includes:
A short description of what it does.
Where you uploaded it in step 3: Google Drive, GitHub or similar.
And the instructions to get it running.
From step 4. Required for a Challenge entry.
Your app can still go to the Showroom as a normal submission, but it isn't entered in the Challenge and can't win a prize. You can add the link any time before entries close.
You keep ownership of your app and your video. By entering, you give edelkrone the unlimited, permanent right to use your demo video in its marketing and advertising, credited to you. Details in the Official Rules.
Connect edelkrone MCP and submit from your chat. Entries close November 30.
